It will be one mother of a metric century, "going like 60" and crossing the north-south continental divide multiple times. Enjoy some of our favorite Porter and LaPorte County Indiana roads and climbs. Who said Indiana is flat?

9:00am rollout from Rogers Lakewood Park on Valparaiso's north side (on Campbell/Meridian Road and 550 North just 2.5 miles south of US 6. From I-94 take the Ind 49 Valparaiso/Chesterton exit south on Ind 49 to US 6. Go west on US 6 a mile to the Meridian Road traffic light. Turn left (south) and go 2.5 miles to Rogers Lakewood Park on the left. There will be a park entry fee for cars or you can continue south to the elementary school on the left or the high school on the right and ride the bike path back north for free bike entry into the park.

Mile 22 is Kemil Beach rest stop (water and rest rooms) overlooking Lake Michigan. Mile 49 is the Westville Dairy Queen rest stop (bring chocolate banana shake money). Back to the start to complete a 65-mile loop.
